I help independent schools and local chapters of National youth-serving organizations to create dynamic health education offerings that enhance literacy, wellness, creativity and achievement of students and faculty. The Healthy Haiku Method is an award-winning framework — evaluated through a postdoctoral fellowship with Morehouse School of Medicine, Tuskegee University, and UAB — that uses haiku's short, disciplined structure to help people truly absorb health lessons rather than just hear them. It moves clients through four steps: Discover and Diagnose, Propose and Enroll, Train and Certify, and Coach and Sustain, starting with a needs assessment so every program is built around your specific students, not a generic script. It helps independent schools and local chapters of national youth-serving organizations go from uncertain how to teach wellness to fully certified in the Healthy Haiku Method, backed by results across children, teens, mothers, parents, and incarcerated adults over many years.

www.conferencier.ai

France

Cynthia Imperato

Member of the Executive Council for the Criminal Law Section of the Florida Bar

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Cynthia Imperato has built a career marked by steady decision-making and consistent public service. Throughout her work as a cop, prosecutor, judge, educator, and board member, she accepted complex tasks and approached them with calm judgment. She mentored young lawyers, worked on practical reforms, and focused on improving how courts serve communities. Her service reflects her belief that legal institutions must earn and protect the trust placed in them. Cindy Imperato began her professional life as a police officer in Tallahassee, gaining firsthand experience that later guided her work as a prosecutor and judge. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from Virginia Tech, followed by an M.S. from the School of Criminology at Florida State University and a J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law. This academic foundation prepared her to manage complex investigations and legal challenges. After law school, Imperato joined the Office of Statewide Prosecution and spent thirteen years as a Senior Assistant Statewide Prosecutor. She handled grand jury presentations and prosecutions involving multi-jurisdictional organized crime, including racketeering, homicide, narcotics trafficking, home invasions, white-collar fraud, police corruption, and gang-related violence. She helped draft and revise Florida’s gang legislation and led the first successful state racketeering prosecution of a street gang. She spoke at the Florida Intelligence Unit in 1994 and 1995 and taught at the first Multi-Agency Gang Task Force Conference in 1996. In January 2003, Governor Bush appointed her to the Circuit Court bench, where she served for thirteen years before retiring in 2016. She handled criminal cases and contributed to statewide judicial education. Cindy trained Judicial Nominating Committees, chaired the Judicial Nominating Criminal Procedures Committee, and worked on the Criminal Rules Committee. In 2006, she spoke at the 82nd Boot Camp graduation and received a Community Service Award from all minority Bar Associations in the state. She also served on the Florida Judicial College video faculty and taught courses on probation violations, jury instructions, and capital caseload management. Education remained central to her work. For nearly two decades, she taught Criminal Pretrial Practice as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Law and previously taught criminal justice at Tallahassee Community College. Her 1993 publication, An Assessment of Florida Gangs and Recommendations for Law Enforcement, appeared in Women Police Magazine. Cynthia Imperato's career reflects a steady focus on fairness, preparation, and community involvement. Those who worked with her remember a judge guided by facts, reason, and professionalism.
