I am Lisa Cannon-Ratliff, a 17+year special education. teacher I am culturally experienced with diverse professional experience, having taught special education in both urban and suburban environments. I have also taught special education students in cross-categorical areas within Federal Settings I, II, III, and IV. I have focused on Emotional Behavioral Disordered categories over the past few years. Behavior Management and replacement strategies are my expertise. Research and my professional experience have shown that many parents and teachers are unaware of how to advocate for their children in special education. FORHands Mentoring, LLC advocates for families affected by disability and the special education communities. We provide training on strategies for social emotional strategic replacements, and behavioral monitoring tools along with behavioral replacement skills. We believe the acquisition of these skills will foster a sustainable, inclusive level of community involvement. I have extensive experience with behavior management.
