At the moment, Simon Arias is the State Director and President of the American Income Life Arias Agencies. In addition, he manages activities in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and Tennessee as the State General Agent. Simon joined AIL and worked his way up to manager, receiving incentives and recognition from the entire organization. In the halls of the 10th Judicial District Court in Johnson County, Kansas, Judge Paul Burmaster is pleased to serve as the 2nd most senior judge in the Family Division. Since assuming the bench in July 2019, Judge Burmaster has been well-received with a 92% rating as voted by the members of the local bar association. Judge Burmaster's tenure has been marked by major changes in the legal environment with first the restrictions of covid and later a move to a new courthouse. However, Burmaster has worked diligently to develop an understanding of the complexities inherent in divorce, parentage disputes, and protection order cases. His approach, combined with years of legal experience, assists Burmaster in working towards resolutions that are in the best interests of children. Before ascending to the bench, Burmaster enjoyed a long and successful career as a litigator. Commencing private practice in 1994, he developed extensive experience in criminal, civil, and juvenile cases over a 25-year period. Burmaster's commitment to public service began as an Assistant City Prosecutor in Wichita, Kansas. He later served as an Assistant District Attorney in the 29th Judicial District, Wyandotte County, Kansas, from1992 to1994. His dedication to justice and community service continued as an Assistant City Prosecutor in Kansas City, Missouri. In this capacity, he negotiated plea deals and conducted trials working to ensure the public's safety while upholding the rule of law. An alumnus of the University of Kansas School of Law (Juris Doctorate, 1990) and the University of Kansas School of Journalism (Bachelor of Science, 1987), Judge Burmaster is an active contributor to legal associations including the Johnson County Family Law Inn of Court, Johnson County Bar Association, Johnson County Bar Foundation, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.

Atia Abawi is a journalist, author, analyst, and public speaker. From an early age, Atia knew she wanted to be a journalist. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she went to work for CNN. Rising up the ranks from a production assistant to producer to an on air foreign correspondent – where she traveled the globe covering breaking news events.
