Mark has been a professional musician since 2008, worked with Warner Bros on ABC, performed for a TEDx event, appeared in several Christmas specials on KCET, co-hosted and received awards for a college radio show, released 7 albums, named one of Los Angeles’ top 5 bluegrass bands by CBS-LA, headlined several festivals. His achievement in the entertainment industry has exposed him to multi-platform storytelling which he further honed on this interest through studying Communications at Chapman University. His passion for marketing was first enlivened as he was working on a marketing campaign at an Orange County-based restaurant. It is there that he found the value in working closely with local business, public service, and community engagement. After graduation, he worked at the County of Orange Communication office, where he witnessed homeless crises firsthand. During his free time, Mark served his community as a Freelance Marketing and Brand consultant. He would later serve as a Project Manager for the university’s Strategic Marketing and Communication office, where he oversaw campaigns and collateral production. His drive for community led him to the acclaimed Public Relations firm, Communications LAB. Mark was able to integrate and translate his experience in performance arts, creativity, and storytelling to hosting various successful public and nonprofit events within the community. In 2022, Mark had the honor of transitioning to one of the largest nonprofit organizations in California, Lutheran Social Services of Southern California. As the agency’s Marketing Specialist, Mark oversees podcast production, magazine publications, film production, and many more projects. In 2023, His responsibility expanded to Community Engagement, and serves as the key liaison for the entire agencies, across 17 Care Centers in six major Southern California counties.
