Regardless of the hand God dealt us. Seeing my brother and sister fight to make it regardless of being Deaf. Made me see my mothers teachings , That regardless of what i had or did not have. I had to see my worth and make it work for me, while respecting other struggles. The lesson was to not let my defects define who I am. But to use them as advantages to move forward. Meaning that there is nothing in life that can make me less of a person but to be an overachiever through the curve balls life throws at me. In life at an early age it was already meant for me to fail , but through hard work and determination I overcame the odds and chose not to be a statistic. Everyone has a journey in life , its up to each individual to decide to use their life as an excuse to fail or a reason to make it. We all have a story we can either use it as an excuse or as an advantage. Going through life adversity has taught me how to know to my worth.
