About
Most health speakers talk about medication adherence. I solve it. I'm a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist, Associate Professor, and founder of Bridge to Better Meds™ — a pharmacist-led platform built on the premise that preventable deaths from incorrect medication use are a system failure, not a patient failure. That framing changes everything: the conversation, the strategy, and the outcomes. My talks translate clinical expertise and learning science into action your audience can implement immediately, whether you're a health system closing quality gaps, an FQHC serving underinsured communities, or an educator training the next generation of clinicians. I bring two proprietary frameworks to every stage: the AAA Framework (Awareness, Access, Action) and the BRIDGE Framework, tools your audience leaves with, not just ideas they forget by Monday. The result: rooms that don't just feel inspired...they change behavior.
The Pill They Don't Take: Medication Literacy as a Public Health Crisis
Keynote, Workshop, Webinar • 60-90 mins
Every year, 125,000 Americans die not because they couldn't get a prescription — but because they didn't take it correctly. This keynote reframes medication non-adherence as a systemic public health infrastructure failure, not a patient behavior problem. Using the AAA Framework (Awareness, Access, Action), Dr. Wallace-Gay equips health systems, FQHCs, and educators with a new lens and a practical path forward. Audiences leave with language, tools, and urgency to act.

From Prescription to Practice: How Learning Science Closes the Medicatio Adherence Gap
Keynote, Workshop, Webinar • 60-90 mins, half-day
Medication adherence fails not because patients don't care — but because the health system never taught them how. This session applies learning science principles to the medication education process, showing clinical teams and health educators exactly where comprehension breaks down and how to fix it. Dr. Wallace-Gay introduces the BRIDGE Framework (Build Knowledge, Review Regularly, Integrate Into Lifestyle, Develop Questions, Guide Your Team, Empower Action) — a structured, evidence-informed approach that transforms how patients receive, process, and act on medication information.

Bridge the Gap: Building Medication Literacy in Underserved Communities
Keynote, Workshop, Panel • 45-75 minutes
Underserved communities carry a disproportionate burden of chronic disease — and a disproportionate share of preventable medication harm. This talk meets that reality head-on. Dr. Wallace-Gay draws on over a decade of community pharmacy practice, faith-based outreach, and clinic-under-the-bridge service to show what medication literacy looks like when it's built for — and with — the communities that need it most. This is not a talk about health disparities. It's a talk about health solutions.
