I'm an Afro-Optimist that believes that the true advancement of Africa and her people will require the full participation of Young Africans and African Women in socio-economic-political affairs.
In my role as a CEO at The BrickHouse Counsel, I have aspired to live up to this notion by working in five Presidential Campaigns on the Continent with a strong emphasis of youth participation and have travelled the continent many times attending everything from conferences to school lectures to build a coalition of the willing of like minded Africans that believe in their abilities. Teaching innovation, the use of technology in agriculture and political organization.
In my role as a Member of Parliament in The East Africa Legislative Assembly, I have a seasoned perspective on the regional/continental issues coupled with communication skills that help bridge the communication gap of young people and those in power, I plan to bring to the forefront the use of technology in the development of the African Continent.
With a background in Communication and International Business & Development Economics from Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA and an MBA from USIU, Nairobi Kenya, I am passionate about African Affairs and World History. My professional values can be summed up as follows:
