Born in India and having spent most of his childhood in the USA, Nithin discovered his passions for technology, education, and social impact as a direct result of his experiences growing up. Nithin’s journey in education and philanthropy began back in 2010, while at Cupertino High School, when his class created Kenya Dream, a project to enhance the quality of education for students and communities in Kenya. While at the University of California, Irvine where he obtained his B.S. in Computer Science, Nithin became involved in helping bring innovative educational programs to students at UC Irvine and the greater Orange County community.
As an eternal entrepreneur, Nithin founded and serves as the Executive Director of Dreams for Schools, which inspires and educates students to be STEM literate with the hard and soft skills needed to become the technologists of tomorrow. Nithin and his business partner also run a technology firm, SwizzMagik, that builds software solutions for businesses across various sectors. He is an entrepreneur who champions educating and empowering the next generation of innovators.
In addition, Nithin also serves on several non-profit and advisory boards which include FosterAll based in Glendale, Harbor Day School in Corona Del Mar, the UC Irvine Alumni Association Board & Young Alumni Council, and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). He aspires to help spread the “learning by doing” model to the younger generation, build models and systems that are sustainable, and empower the next generation of youth to become leaders in their local community.
