About
I bring both sides of the table to every engagement. Having built and exited digital businesses, I understand what founders need from a process and what acquirers are actually evaluating. My presentations are built from live transaction data, not case studies or theoretical models. Audiences leave with frameworks they can deploy immediately, not slides they will never open again. I run lean, direct engagements with no junior handoffs and no advisory theatre. If you need a speaker who will challenge your audience's assumptions and leave them with actionable commercial intelligence, that is what I deliver.
The State of Digital M&A: Structural Shifts and Valuation Frameworks
A data-driven overview of the current digital M&A landscape, covering deal volume, valuation trends, and buyer appetite across SaaS, fintech, and digital media. Delivered with live market intelligence from active transactions, this keynote strips away generic commentary to reveal what acquirers are actually buying today. Audiences will learn how to interpret current multiples, identify the verticals attracting the most capital, and understand the structural shifts driving consolidation in the digital economy.
The Founder's Exit Playbook: Maximising Value in Digital Transactions
What do founders need to do in the 12 to 24 months before going to market to maximise their exit outcome? This presentation provides a practical, step-by-step framework for preparing a digital business for acquisition. It covers financial preparation, operational independence, building a credible growth narrative, and the mechanics of running a competitive process. Attendees will learn how to avoid the common structural mistakes that cost founders money and how to manage process dynamics to maximise competitive tension.
Fintech M&A: The Compliance Premium and Cross-Border Complexities
Regulatory licensing has become the primary driver of fintech valuations. This session explores how the "compliance premium" impacts buyers and sellers in the current market. It covers key jurisdictions, license transferability, due diligence priorities, and the structural implications for deal terms. Fintech founders, investors, and corporate development professionals will gain a clear understanding of how to navigate cross-border complexities and structure transactions that optimise outcomes across multiple regulatory environments.
