Bias affects us in all aspects of life. Healthcare is no exception. Each interpersonal encounter we face is filled with judgement and bias. These interactions can quickly lead to medical errors and differences in health outcomes. This lecture looks at a few ways that bias affects our healthcare system and provides solutions to mitigate the adversity.
