David imagines a world where trust between leaders and teams is the default setting. Where we show up to work with the intent to connect, lift and serve. Where we consider others’ interests as much as our own. He works with leaders and their teams to build and maintain cultures based on that ideal. As the first of Simon Sinek’s “Igniters”, David helped share Simon’s simple, inspiring ideas through speaking and workshops to over 225 companies on 5 continents from 2009 - 2019.
In 2017, David co-authored, with Peter Docker and Simon Sinek, Find Your Why: a practical guide for discovering the WHY of an individual, team or organization. It has sold over 400,000 copies and is translated into 25 languages.
In Dec, 2019 David chose to step away from Sinek’s team to focus on helping leaders to sustainably implement the ideas he now shares. Through talks, workshops and leadership conversations, David helps people recognize and take responsibility for their role in creating trust and human connection on their teams.
