I graduated from Cardinal O'hara High School and was asked to give the Commencement Speech. I was asked after I had appeared on Saturday Night Live and wrote the book " A Fly on the Wall in the NHL". The speech received an ovation for the advice I gave the students and the stories I was able to tell from life experience. I explained that I would ask seasoned elders what is the secret to life? The one that I told the students was from an 81 year old cab driver in Gloversville NY. He said, "you can't go far wrong if you do what your mother told you."
