Chetan is an entrepreneurial, strategic and forward-thinking leader with a progressive career of over 20 years in Marketing, Digital and E-Commerce for Fortune 500 CPG, Retail and Food & Beverage brands. He has a track record of driving marketing strategies, general management success, e-commerce leadership and digital expertise.
Chetan recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Sears Holdings Corporation for three distinct businesses. He provided leadership on traditional, digital and E-Commerce marketing strategies.
Chetan was responsible for the general management (including P&L) of direct-to-consumer, e-commerce and digital marketing functions at The J. M. Smucker Company for over 25 brands. He expanded these businesses across multiple channels including company-owned online stores, pure-play E-Commerce e-tailers (e.g. Amazon.com) and traditional "brick & mortar" retailers. He was also responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of digital marketing across all brands. He also launched initiatives in the area of mobile e-commerce.
