With a heart for justice, Samentha’s passion lies in being a voice for the voiceless. A survivor herself, Sam has made it her mission for over a decade to challenge policy and laws for sexual assault survivors’ rights. Sam has traveled all over sharing her personal story through RAINNs Speakers Bureau, helping survivors find their drive again. Sam’s mantra is “Turning victims into survivors, and survivors into leaders.”
Sam is a skilled community organizer specializing in event planning, social and earned media. With a background in photography, Sam is able to utilize her creative eye in design focused projects.
Sam was a top DC food critic intertwining her love of food and her passion to eradicate hunger by working with local food banks and restaurants to bridge the gap between food waste and food deserts. Sam has provided digital and social media coverage for the GRAMMYS, Global Citizen and SoFar Sounds to name a few. Working with the Congressional Black Congress Foundation, Sam helped magnify emphasis on the intense need for mental health care and environmental access for communities of color by coordinating live online coverage of numerous panels to make them widely accessible to the world.
Sam is an International Wedding and Event Planner as well as a Certified Special Events Planner, with a degree in Digital Marketing.
